The college professor versus the senior senator, that is the impression I got from watching the debate. Where McCain showed an ability to showcase his experience, Obama showed that he can keep an audience nodding along with his professor-esque inquiry. Throughout the debate, I agreed with McCain most if not all of the time and there is no doubt who I am voting for in this election. Yet I will say, those watching at home probably preferred Obama's view of the economy, and it will be hard for McCain to rebound. As for national security, McCain was firmly in control of the debate and proved why he is ready to be commander in chief. Whether the American public wants Obama to be in that role, we’ll soon see. Both candidates performed well overall.
Final verdict: Draw.
